So, I have to admit something. Adi and I were graciously sponsored by three of our New York couples to fly out and shoot their engagement sessions last month.
We DID make a mini holiday out of it (Clara especially loved the pizza and the Natural History Museum) and had a grand ole time with my brother and FUTURE sister-in-law, who live in the Village. (Still looking for a photographer, anybody know one?)
This is the fourth shoot of the journey and this is how we met Kate & Len (who I am pretty sure I called Glen for the entire shoot on that very rainy day in Soho.)

Adi, Clara and I chatted up a table of adorable New Yaaaukers at dinner one night and the convo went something like this (very condensed for your reading pleasure)….

Them, “What a cute baby!”
Us, “Thanks! She’s still on Los Angeles time, hence the awakeness at 11 pm New York time.”
Them, “Oh! That’s awesome, are you here for pleasure or work?”
Us, “We’re here for both. We’re photographers and shooting a bunch of engagement sessions.”
Them, “Oh! We just got married in Mexico a couple of months ago.”
Me (Adi wouldn’t dare), “Does you dress still fit?”
Them, “Um, I think so?”
Us, “Let us shoot you tomorrow!”
Them, “OKAY!”

It’s that time of the year again when we all reflect on the past wedding season and admire all of the exquisite events that we were a part of at Next Exit Photography.
We just completed our SIXTH wedding season. Ah!

Every single couple has made an impact on our lives…the toasts, the dance, the kiss, the friendships, the first look, the laughter, the tears, and the love. So much love that we get to share with each and every one of our amazing clients.

2009 is going to be another stellar year for us, I know. We will continue to provide our clients with the very best images and the very best service in the wedding photography market.
We already have weddings booked all over Southern California, Cabo San Lucas, New York and New Jersey! I am so excited for the coming season.
Yes, we still have lots of openings, so make sure to schedule a consultation sooner than later if you are considering booking with our studio.

And, to our portrait clients, we love you, too!
I haven’t done a specific count, but I know that we have had the pleasure and honor of photographing about 100 gorgeous families this year.
(yes, we’re VERY behind on our blog) but we hope to be able to start catching up in the new year when wedding season is a bit slower.

Also, I know that many of you keep emailing me for some Clara pics…I’ll have Adi put toegther a few for the blog very soon. She is so munchkie!

As we are now approaching our first weekend off since March, we thought we’d skip town for a refresher, recharger and remargarita-er.

Clara has the cutest little bathing suits and dresses for her first ever grown up vacation. Can you believe she is already 6-months-old??

We’ll be back October 21st (Adi’s Birthday!) ready to take on all of our client’s needs in a more cheerful mood than ever.
