Erika and Donovan live in New York City but had a beautiful wedding here in Southern California. Their ceremony was held at the Temescal Gateway Park in Pacific Palisades (in the same park that I used to have my swim team practice 5 days a week in high school!). Then, the perfectly decorated dinner reception was held at the swanky Akwa Restaurant in Santa Monica.
E&D are one of our first couples to add on the Next Exit Photobooth Experience. We set up our background during cocktail hour and the guests go wild! Adi and I managed to score the event of the year! You guessed it, Sally Horchow‘s Birthday Party. We met Sally last year, as she co-chaired the fresh stART charity event that we photographed. Not only is Sally incredibly savvy and smart, she’s such a super nice woman. And, she is a lifestyle expert for such publications as The New York Times, Town & Country, and DailyCandy.com, to name just a few. She hosted 175 of her closest and dearest friends at Social Hollywood and every detail was perfect. The theme? An Ice Cream Social. She had the most fabulous vendors including a homemade ice cream station with an extensive 10 foot toppings bar, a genius balloon twister, a crafty card trick dude, a pool playing expert, and yes, Adi and Cat from Next Exit Photography (a side show all of their own) who dazzled Sally’s guests with their new photo booth experience.

Next Exit Photography started selling custom wedding and portrait framing about two months ago, and ever since, it’s like we moved into Frame City!
Our clients are just loving them. They are simply stunning. I want a few with our own wedding photos, too! (finally”¦it’s only been four years!)
We offer several different “looks,” many of which are hand painted in Italy. Others are simple and understated. The quality is unbeatable. Of course, you can order a loose print from us and schlep all over town trying to find different products (which I know can be done) but why???
We’ll do all the work for you and the final product will hang magnificently in your home.
A wise man once told me, “Cat, tell your clients not to think of framing as part of the wedding budget, rather, their home decor budget!” I love it, and it’s so true.
