Dana LaRue, founder of incredible blogsite, The Broke-Ass Bride, invited Adi and I to partake in an amazing online wedding contest last year. The winners, Joanna and Ken, had an uber-creative submission. They were the only ones to design an amazing PDF entry, full of pictures and stories (rather than the run of the mill, “we met here and are getting married there” entry that we saw almost 80 of!) She also happens to be a wedding blogger on one of our other favorite sites!! Johanna is Miss Poodle on the WeddingBee!!
Adi met the couple on one of our recent rainy (okay stormy) days in Southern California. It doesn’t happen very often that it pours in our neighborhood, and of course, we would have been happy to reschedule, however, Ken is juggling school as well as a probationary orientation for the Forest Service, so we had to stick with it.
To our surprise, the couple arrived in costume with props! Love it!!!
