Talia and Michael could have been high school sweethearts (they both went to Beverly Hills High School), but fate dictated otherwise … one whole year past, when they met at a party at UC Irvine and the rest is history.
This wedding was the wedding you want. Dancing was fierce and the floor was packed without pause. That’s special thanks to the talented tunification of Bob Gail’s, Jumpstart.
The guests were giddy and the bride and groom were ecstatic from start to end. In fact, Bob Gail was responsible for so much of the evening success. (If you don’t know them, you have been living under a rock for the past 30+ years).
From planning to production, from florals to furniture, they do it all! (and they are the best) Mention Next Exit when you call to book them for your wedding or event and they’ll throw in a Giant Buddha Statue, London Guard Mannequin or Tiki Bar. (just kidding, but they rent EVERYTHING)

  • RITA RAE BRASSINGTON BRASSINGTON - TAWNY YOU WERE A BEAUTIFUL BRIDE. LOVE THE PICTURE. YOUR GRAMOM BARB SENT THEM TO ME
    MUCH HAPPINESS RITA RAE

Ryan is one of the nicest 13 year olds you will ever meet. He is sweet, smart, charming, and adorable!!!
This was a party fit for a rock star and so Ryan and his super cool friends fit in perfectly.

Adi and I typically only take a hand full of Bar Bat Mitzvahs each year, but when we meet our match, it is oh so meant to be.
Of course, when an event is being produced by the one and only, Ms Kristin Banta, you offer to give your left foot to be a part of her team. (see additional vendor links at end of post)

After guests signed in, they had their photo taken via a classic red carpet step and repeat against a wall featuring Ryan’s rock motif in black, red and white.  Waiters were standing by offering root beer float shots and specialty orange cocktails.
They enjoyed different stations with Guitar Hero, slot car racing, flip books, duct tape wallets and even a live sushi bar! I’m still drooling over the kids dinner menu — Sliders, Grilled Cheese w Tomato Soup Shots, Mini Corn Dogs, Tataki Nachos, Tater Tots, Kogi Tacos…to name a few.
The treats were also beyond your imagination — The Fry Girl frying hot donuts, Cake Pops, mini desserts and a 3-Tier Birthday cake.

Mazel Tov to Ryan and his entire family!!

Korede’s family flew in from Nigeria to be at the wedding. Hope’s family lives in the high desert..
The couple wanted to elope without fanfare but the families insisted on something small that they could be involved in. And, there are no regrets. How could there be!
A perfect evening of eats and treats. A wonderful couple that we were honored to photograph at their intimate Viceroy Palm Springs wedding.

  • Summer - As an admirer of 1377293 wedding photog blogs, usually brides are brides are brides. But THIS bride is freakin GORGEOUS! Shoes are hot, dress is hot, the whole thing is totally hot! Way to rock it out!

  • Cat - Summer, thank you!!

  • Holly S - Lovely photography! I think the color scheme is brilliant for the vibrant emotions of the couple and the Viceroy. Kudos to Cat!

  • Cat - thx Holly!

When we met with John and Lindsay a few months ago in the studio, we discovered that John and I had gone to Curtis School together. Well, he was in my brother’s class, but still, it’s a crazy small world.
Tobey Dodge, the wedding planner that every wedding planner wants to be, was THE wedding planner. She is as good as they say. But, I already knew that.
The wedding was so beautiful and we LOVED working at the gorgeous site up in the hills.
Of course, Adi found the ultimate secret place to shoot the couple (he’s sneaky that way) and the photos are magazine worthy.
BTW, John, you owe Adi a bottle of Rye. Or so he says.
