Bacara Wedding Photography

It was one of those perfect days in Santa Barbara. It was supposed to rain, but Amanda and Ryan got blue, windless skies instead.
The couple lives in San Fransisco, but their families and friends live all over, so Bacara Resort seemed like the obvious choice.
Amanda and Ryan couldn’t have been any more surprised when they realized that they had bough the SAME card to go along with their wedding gifts to one another.
Amanda was the most organized bride you have ever met! Scheduling down to the exact minute, and why not. Wrangling a 30 person bridal party needed it!!
The cigar and whiskey bar was a huge hit with the guests.
We adore you guys!!! xoxo

Sarah - WOW!!! These pics are amazing!June 3, 2011 – 8:21 am

Rachel Tatem - Love how you captured her laugh in the wedding and her tear at the reception. Capturing the emotion and memory forever. That is why I fell in love with doing wedding photography.June 2, 2011 – 5:56 am

Indian Buddhist Wedding Photography

If you’ve never visited the Hsi Lai Temple in Hacienda Heights, it’s seriously worth a day trip.
Hsi Lai Temple encompasses 15 acres. The temple’s Ming (1268-1644 C. E.) and Ching (1644-1911 C.E.) dynasty architecture is faithful to the traditional style of buildings, gardens and statuary of traditional ancient Chinese monasteries.
I felt like I was in another world and I know that the guests of this wedding felt that way, too.

Angela and Ashvind were my dream clients, but I never knew it until the day of the wedding when we first met. They were the couple that had permagrin all day long and it was impossible not to photograph them looking amazing.
We started and ended the day at Pacific Palms Resort, where Amber Gustafson and her rad team of ladies dazzled us with their decor and coordination skillz.

Beverly Hills Montage Wedding Photography

I live in West Los Angeles, so I, like so many others, were in giddy anticipation of the opening of the new Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. It oozes charm and elegance and so it was the perfect fit for the spectacular wedding that was for Vicky and Josh.
Designed by the undeniable master of wedding production, Kristin Banta and her team brought Next Exit a dream client.
We loved working with all of the top notch vendors that she gathered for this intimate Six Course Gourmet Dinner for about 40 guests on the gorgeous rooftop Conservatory. Top Chef, watch out!
A special thanks to Shaun Brown for being so wonderful.

Also, note for Vicky and Josh, there is still time to book Adi and I plane tickets to come and shoot your wedding in Argentina later this year. Or, just stuff us in your suitcase, I doubt anybody will notice.

Century City Intercontinental Wedding Photography

This wedding was a first for us. Grant (the groom) is the FATHER of a past Next Exit Bride! (See below: Laura-Lee, Erik and new addition, Charlee)
So, you can imagine how honored we were to photograph his wedding to beautiful Marjorie in Century City at the Intercontinental Hotel.
Not to mention, Grant’s other daughter, Elizabeth, has become one of our closest friends since LL’s wedding, so it was a big ole party for Adi and I.
Grant is a writer/producer of some of the biggest shows on television, and Marjorie is a successful actress in both television and film.
So, yes, there were a few Hollywood types on hand to share the dance floor with.

Geoffrey’s Restaurant Malibu Wedding Photography

This was a very special wedding for me.
I guess when it’s a first matrimony for two loving people over the age of 40, you think, wow. This is for real!
This was a true story of Eat Pray Love. Alisa went off to the Caribbean and went scuba diving and met French boat captain Michel. Enough said? YES!! I felt the love oooozze through my camera.
Whatever your imagination conjures up, it’s real. Their love is like a movie and I was there to witness it.
You’ve never seen more Vueve poured in a single day. Grrr. I should have stayed for a few.

Okay, Alisa, one more thing, when can we go visit Mickey again??!! xoxoxo
