Adi and I are so blessed to have the best wedding and portrait clients in the whole wide world. 2007 was the best year of our lives”¦ marriage, business and overall happiness.
I guess this is as good a time as any to let you all know that we’re expecting a baby girl on April 4th!! I’ll be taking about 2 months off completely and then, I’ll be back to shooting for the crazy summer season. Auntie Lauren hired Adi to follow Trey around the Brentwood Farmer’s Market with one of Next Exit Photography’s signature “Style of Life” sessions as a surprise for her sister (Trey’s mom). It was a delightful morning running around with such a well-behaved and photogenic three-year-old munchkin. Lauren ordered three gorgeous fine art albums from the session…one for mom, one for grandma and, of course, one for the auntie herself!!!

Here are a just a few spreads from the amazing book.

Adi and I have had an overwhelming number of requests for Christmas Week until New Year’s Portrait Sessions so we’ve decided to stay in Los Angeles during this time to capture all of your adorable families.

The “Style of Life” session fee is $350pt and includes a $50 product credit. We’ll come to your home (within 20ish miles of the studio) or meet up at a local park, beach or whatever we can come up with.

Call Cat at the studio at 310-474-7871 to book your session before it’s too late!

  • Carol Topping - Hi,

I’m Trey’s Mommy – the little guy you shot at the Farmer’s Market with my sister, Lauren. Lauren gave us our book last night and we cried! It is just so incredibly beautiful. You do beautiful work and I wanted to thank you personally for this amazing gift. I will definately keep you in mind for the future.

Adrienne and Gene are so hot, they’re smokin’. We knew that after shooting their insano e-pic session, that their wedding would be filled with killer photographic opportunity”¦and it was. We had such a ball working with the couple in the hallway of the school church, by the dumpster in the parking lot and finally, shoving O.G. Tommy’s Burgers into our faces in downtown Los Angeles. The wedding ceremony was held in one of the oldest churches in the city, The First Congregational Church of Los Angeles, founded in 1867! The Chinese banquet reception was held at one Adi’s and my favorite spots in town for Sunday morning dim sum, none other than the famous Empress Pavilion. We were blown away by all of the creative florals designed by by Michelle Brue at Flora By Fauna.
P.S. You’ll note the fire truck photos on the more page”¦well, I won’t go into too much detail, but we had to call 911 when Gene cut his hand on a glass during the toasts!!! He was such a good sport!!

  • Jen - Cheers to the newlyweds!

    And fabulous works of art!

Honestly, it has been very hard to write this blog entry because there is so much to say! When you spend an entire weekend with a family and their friends, and they are just all so wonderful, it really just makes everything we do so worthwhile. Zarin and Ryan were married in Los Cabos, Mexico at the One&Only Palmilla. Adi and I have now photographed three weddings there and we hope that we’ll be booking many more in the future. This particular wedding was perfect in every way. Besides the gorgeous couple, the Pamilla wedding planner, Katia Unger, was just a dream to work with. Sweet perfection. Here are some of the other vendors who helped make this event so extraordinary.
Flowers: Elena Damy
Hair & Makeup: Hive Spa

  • Zarin - OH MY GOSH!!! You guys are amazing. I was sitting here in my office, working on a Saturday, thinking that this is a pretty bad way to spend my weekend.
