Zarin and Ryan met me on the steps of the Getty. We almost got booted out half way through the shoot when the guards nearly kicked us to the curb. A little friendly persuasion and we were “safe.” These two are getting married in heaven on earth”¦ and I mean that truthfully. They will exchange their wedding vows at the One&Only Pamilla resort in Cabo San Lucas next month. This will be the third wedding we’ve photographed on this particular property and honestly, if I could afford it, I would take Cat there for a month every year! Pure bliss. It’s going to be a phenomenal experience working with these two on the white sands of Mexico. We do love our destination wedding clients! 🙂

Bree and Brian know deep down inside that I have those “special” kind of feelings for them. We certainly were honored when they invited us to dinner following their killer engagement session, but sadly, we had to refuse due to our “no socializing with clients before the wedding day policy.” We started shooting at the beautiful Westlake Village Inn for getting ready pics, followed by the summery outdoor blissful wedding at the Maravilla Gardens in Camarillo. As it was one of the hottest days of the year (114 degrees in the valley), the 20-degree drop and soft breeze in Camarillo was most welcomed. DJ Brady Westbrook from Props FX was fabulous. The BBQ fare was delish by Command Performance. And, coordination by Loret Sayler, made everything come together.

  • Bree - I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy!!!!!!!! You are the best, creative, most talented photographers and we were lucky to find you. Adi and Stephanie were incredible to work with! Cat, we missed your smiling face…but I guess you’ll have to make it up to us when we grab that dinner 😉 After all, the wedding day is (sadly) over.

  • Cee Cee - Wow! You two love birds are absolutely stunning…Fabulous pics! Great photographer! He really captured some wonderful moments.

Thank you letting me be a part of your special day..I adore you both. Looking forward to seeing you soon”¦Mr. and Mrs. Brian Berri..hehehe it sounds so grown up!

    XOXO

  • Chris Pike - Amazing photos. You two look great! Fantastic setting. I second the “best, creative, most talented photographers”.

Aneesa and I had a wonderful time at your wedding. Thank you.

  • M. O. B. - Dear All,
I am the luckiest M.O.B. on the planet!
ALL of my children (and grandchildren) are unique and wonderful individuals………. When your first baby gets married, ALL the good times AND mistakes come rushing back at you! So, just like the milestones of your first born, the wedding is extremely emotional, exciting, thought-provoking AND nerve racking!
KUDOS to the superhuman efforts of the photographers(acting like they were having FUN in the blistering heat); the wait staff at Maravilla;the wedding coordinator, Jen, the Extraordinary floral arranger;the owners of Maravilla rolling up their sleeves to help;the caterers DELICIOUS food,(our extended family IS all about food!);The D.J.; the diverse group of loved ones gathered to celebrate this memorable occasion, all created the perfect wedding!
Last, but not least!, the groom, who makes my little girl goo-goo…………
I thank and salute you for a job well done.
Far beyond what we ever dreamed!
Oh, yes, and my daughter, THE perfectionist extraordinaire, who felt “bad” about not being available ON her wedding day for quality control!
    I love you, baby!
    Mom

  • Sandra Chavez - Dear Bree,

I am so sorry I didn’t make it to your wedding as Cee Cee’s date! But I just wanted to tell you how absolutely beautiful and glowing you look in all your wedding photos! You and your new hubby look great together and no doubt that you are both on Cloud 9!

I hope to see you one day soon…maybe a lunch with all three of us girls will be fun?!

Congratulations and may you and Brian always be blessed with health and happiness!

    Sandra

Oh my word. My brother, Jeff Krantz, is the most talented dude in the world. He just wrote this song, which he has just posted on his blog and his myspace account. You MUST listen to it! And, make sure to add him as a friend.
This afternoon, he was for reals robbed at his local Starbucks in New York City. So, he wrote a song about it. All of the songs on our Next Exit Photography websites are his own original tunes. He’s going to be huge!

  • Susan - omg! that’s hilarious and awesome at the same time 🙂 love the tunes! he will be huge one day!!

  • Teddi - Oh man, that’s insane, lol!! I can’t believe how it turned out!

  • Christa - It’s got a great beat!

  • Kim DeVenne - Gorgeous photos. Love the couple shots in the street. You two are so glamorous! Also love the shot of the men – Diego included. What a beautiful and fun night that was …

San and Alejandro chose the perfect venue for their wedding ceremony and reception. The Wilshire Ebell Club of Los Angeles is one of the cities most historic clubhouses, founded in 1894! With the helping hands of an amazing coordinator, Jennifer Koohbanani of Divine Details Event Consulting and the darling Melissa Allen, Director of Catering and Special Events, every detail was planned to perfection. The flowers by My Wedding Blooms, a delicious cake from Porto’s Bakery, an amazing videography team, brothers Joe and Salvador Sanchez from Lightbox Digital, a killer mariachi band, a scrumptious Chocolate Fountain, a live performance by a crooner, and the ceremony preformed by Ale’s dad, all made this event so special and unique. As the couple didn’t see each other before the ceremony, we had to be creative during the romantic photos of the two of them. So, we basically stepped out into traffic in the middle of Wilshire Blvd. to get these amazing pics! (do not try this without the supervision of a trained wedding photographer)

  • San - What a wonderful one month anniversary surprise! I absolutely love the pictures. Thank you so much for a great, very memorable wedding experience. I don’t think I’ve ever had a photographer ask me, “how adventurous are you?” Luckily we got our shot without any police involvement! You guys are the best!!!

  • Alejandro - My wife (still a little hard to get used to saying) has been checking out the blog everyday waiting for us to pop up . . .

Needless to say, we are so happy! Cat & Adi did an amazing job and battled through some tough circumstances. Everything from rapidly losing daylight due to a late start (my family was running on Phillipino time), Cat being ordered to “MOVE!” by my camera-crazy aunt so she could get a better shot (Sorry Cat), to Cat actually commandeering a passing vehicle to shine their headlights on us so we could get a better shot.

You guys are the best. THANK YOU.

  • Tam - San and Ale: These pictures are incredible! Love them!

San: My little cousin’s married! ;-P

Ale: Welcome to the family! We love you lots!

  • Paula Ochoa - These photos capture the magic of the day! I must also point out that you had some rather stunning subjects!

  • Gloria Ochoa - These photos are incredible! One can relive the moments captured just by looking at them. I can’t wait to see the rest of the collection. San and Ale, you are a beautiful couple. The Wilshire Blvd shots have to be the stuff that win photo contests! Love you. Mom.
P.S. It wasn’t just the Filipinos who delayed the wedding. 🙂

  • Corazon Niwase - San and Ale: What a beautiful couple you are and how fortunate to have such wonderful friends! I sure missed a lot. I have not seen anything like it here in Japan. Lots of love, Auntie Cora

  • Kristoffer Megino - Ale, the pictures are absolutely stunning and San extremely radiant. You weren’t to shabby yourself cousin =) Your love for each other truly comes across in these photos. We wish you guys the best!

BTW: Your lucky it was Wilshire and not a Manila Blvd street in the P.I, could you imagine that shot?

  • Donna - BEE-YOU-TEE-FULL! SUPERB! over-the-top! naks na man! The pictures are all so elegant with soft touched details and of course, FUN! They definitely capture the personalities of you two and atmosphere of the evening.
Yup, I love the pictures they came out perfect, perfect enough to retell your precious day for many years to come!
I can’t wait to see the rest of them. I enjoyed your wedding and you know it. Love you!

P.S. I am hiring them for mine! =) haha

Adrienne and Gene wanted gritty engagement pictures and we found them on the alleys of Downtown Los Angeles. You’ll notice that Adrienne’s dress in covered with guns”¦well, Gene has six of them (guns not dresses). He competes in competitions and is an excellent marksman. Hey, whatever turns you on! Wink wink. I’m thrilled to be shooting their wedding in November at the Empress Pavilion. Maybe the wait staff can hook me up with some leftover dim sum from the afternoon rush.

  • Gene - guns and skulls, what else can you ask for besides a sexy woman by my side 😀 w00t w00t

  • Rudy - Hey Gene, you guys look really good in these pics. Maybe you should take up modeling? You could be the Korean Tom Cruise.

  • Genevieve Nisly - Very fun photos and full of personality. Thankfully you limited your shooting to a camera and not guns 🙂

  • Neriessa - Congratulations to the both of you!!! You guys make a lovely couple. Guns, skulls and Fong on a skateboard”¦very cool indeed!
And I think Gene is more like Korean Brad Pitt than of a Tom Cruise…lol…

  • adrienne - adi you are amazing! thank you so much, i can’t stop looking at them. i cannot wait for the wedding day!

  • Jen - LOVE LOVE LOVE adri biting gene’s ear 😉

  • Elite - you guys look so cool and with lots of attitude in those pics… i love the last kissing one where Gene was being “pushed” to the wall by Adrienne… it is sexy and captured the passion of them perfectly 🙂 yes… like Rudy, i think Gene & Adrienne should think about becoming models… LOL… those photos make me think of magazine featured shoots 🙂 awesome~!

  • jackie - You guy’s look amazing!

  • Aaron - Awesome pics! Where’s the one with Adrienne riding the skateboard?

  • Gene - i want to know where’s the pic of my guns 😛

  • vinouomo - RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!

  • Cathy - Dude – looks like a Korean 007! Look at those guns
