Dianne and John were referred to us by Jerry Frazier, our Orange County wedding photographer buddy, who was already booked on their date. We loved shooting D&J’s wedding at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort in Newport Beach. Joanna Duong, the wedding planner, was a true delight to work with! Design Visage did an amazing jobs with all of the girls’ wedding hair and makeup. I especially enjoyed escaping with D&J to a private beach in Newport where their florist Daniel from Flowerland had arrived ten minutes earlier to decorate the sand with thousands of rose petals! It was so romantic. The wedding band, Drexx Canyon, was a huge hit. They play locally, too.

  • brittney - I LOVE AUNTIE AND JOHN

  • John Trosko - Okay, I am TOTALLY loving those starfish placecards. Great pictures… as always.

Amy and Matt are uber-cool movie industry Culver City folk who love life. This was made so clear to us on their beautiful wedding day where their family and friends got together and rocked all night long on a Marina Del Rey cruise, skippered by Fantasea Yacht Club. As everything was winding down towards the end of the night, family and friends from New Orleans arranged a near hour-long “second Line.” The B&G raised their decorated umbrellas up and down and guests waved white hankies dancing around the room to traditional Jazzy Brass Band music. The custom originated with Mardi Gras and the “second line” of dancers who keep up with their favorite marching band by walking behind the first line of parade-goers, thus forming a “second line.” Text from: Bob Walker’s Official New Orleans Area Wedding Guide.

  • Amy Atzenhoffer - Oh my goodness, I love Cat and Adi!!! If this is just a touch of our wedding photos, we could NOT be happier!!!

  • Bobbie Brubaker - We are very anxious to see the rest of the pictures after this great display. Cat and Adi were great to work with…..they were everywhere without being in the way and posed pictures took about 15 minutes. They are great people and even greater photojournalists. Love them!

  • Brother Martin Class of 88 - Matt you look great!

Adi and I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with Brent, Dawn and Sydney at their exquisite home in Pacific Palisades. They were the winners of a silent auction donation that Next Exit Photography made to a charity called The Next Right Thing. Mom Dawn Heusser-Forrester, Emmy award winning Reporter for Fox Sports is also the Project Director of the charitable organization. Recently featured on Oprah, their mission is to assist children “with medical costs for in-country treatment or help secure life-changing medical treatment free of charge in the United States.” Papa Brent has an unbelievable writing and producing bio which features Adi’s favorite shows of all time: “The Ben Stiller Show,” “Undeclared,” “King of the Hill,” “The Simpsons,” and “The Office.”

We absolutely loved working with Jennifer and Steven. They are such beautifully kind, loving, happy peeps. And, their families were so much fun to snap!! Jen hired us super late in the game because she is one of several brides this year who have been taken by scam artist wedding photographers and come to Next Exit for rescue! I hope that we made it up to her with these beautiful images from their beach ceremony in Corona Del Mar and killer reception with da bomb Mariachi Band Juvenil Oro y Plata 323-268-1138.
