Candice and Matthew had such a beautiful Orange County wedding set at Rancho Las Lomas, a.k.a heaven on earth. It is a restored California ranch once occupied by coastal Indians full of wild animals and endless photo opportunities.
When we arrived, we found our past bride, Dayna, getting her bridal party make-up done! It is such a pleasure working with our fabulolus wedding photography clients again and so wonderful that they are so kind to refer us to their best friends!
We loved working again with wedding planning guru, Alexandra Doudian, from Enchanted Events & Design. Working with Ashley Video Productions was as easy as it gets. She was a true pro! Dinner was delish by Suzanne’s Catering and the beautiful cake was designed by the Great Dane Baking Co.

Ever since Sandra and Oscar treated us to a post engagement session happy hour extravaganza, they were high up in our books. Wink wink.
What an incredible ceremony at one of the oldest Catholic Churches in Southern California. St. Vincent de Paul in downtown Los Angeles is worth a visit to see the stunning architecture “reflecting the late Baroque ecclesiastical style popular in 18th-century colonial Mexico.”
Some of you might know that Adi got his B.A. in photography at the USC Cinema School 12 years ago, so he almost convinced Oscar to go grab a burrito at Chanos Drive-In (his favorite hang-out) after the ceremony. Oh yeah, it was their wedding day! So, I guess we’ll have to go another time.
Rosie, our friend from Just a Girl Events, worked her magic making it all happen with ease. Our other good friend, Joyce Luck, did a phenomenal job with Sandra’s Makeup and Hair. She looked like a queen! City of Commerce Flowers arranged the beautiful flowers. The Gourmet Chocolate Fountain was flowing all night long. The rice crispy treats were just as good as my mom used to make them. Of course, the reception at the Castaway Restaurant was perfect as we all watched the sun set over the hills of the San Fernando Valley.

Heather and Daniel had a perfect wedding on a perfectly gorgeous day in Ventura County at Maravilla Gardens (one of our new favorite wedding photography locations.) The ring barer (Dollar the dalmation) made us laugh all day long. He even cut into the first dance!!!
Carrie and Ryan Phillips referred us to Heather because they were booked and had been Heather’s sister’s AND cousin’s wedding photographer, so Adi and I had a tough act to follow!
A delicious cake was designed by Skiff’s cakes in Simi Valley. Our buddy, DJ Tom Chandler from Cal Sounds, did a fabulous job getting everybody on the dance floor. The gorgeous decor and delicious Mexican style catering was served up by Command Performance. The stunning florals were designed by A Beautiful Day Productions. Bridal make-up applied by the ever fabulous E.Marie from Bride’s Bliss.

Samantha and Greg had a beautiful Orthodox Jewish wedding. The whole wedding was planned in about six weeks. One of my mother’s closest friends, Florist extraordinarre Val Eule from Just Flowers (valeule@yahoo.com) in Los Angeles, referred us to this amazing couple. Let Val know that we referred you for a Next Exit special.
Totally “beshert” (meant to be) and in love, we photographed this couple’s wedding on a warm Tuesday night in Westwood at the Sephardic Temple on Wilshire. Events lasted from the early afternoon until late in the night and the guests did not stop dancing the horah for hours on end. Bunny, the site’s event planner was a true delight to work for and Pat and Errol Fine (also good friends of my family!) from Pat’s Restaurant in Beverly Hills did a phenomenal job with the Kosher catering.

Joanne and Travis had a perfect California wedding. Just a few steps from the breaking Malibu surf, the sun touched the shoulders of the adoring family and guests of this fabulous couple. Perfect weather, white sand and then back into the Sunset Restaurant looking over the sea for yummy food and fabulous music by Gold Dust Entertainment. Just a little pressure on Adi and I, as many of the guests were crew from the hit show NYPD Blue, where J&T met. Film industry folk who know good photography! The exquisite flowers and linens were arranged by Katie Rogers & Derek Zovak at Eventworks.

Marisa and Gerard got married at the Neighborhood Unitarian Universalist Church of Pasadena just next door to the famous Gamble House. The grounds, exquisitely manicured and perfect for family pictures, were just the place for the “reveal” before the beautiful ceremony. Immediately following, our good friend, Los Angeles wedding coordinator Heather Ryon, from Martinis and Bliss Events, coordinated an perfectly in-sync rose petal toss, which showered the fabulous new couple followed by a scrumptious lunch at Café Santorini.
I was so lucky that Adi had an evening wedding that day, so he got to join me and the fabulous couple for the pre-reception photos before heading off to his wedding in Downtown Los Angeles!
M&G were up for a wedding fashion shoot tour d’ Pasadena and we hit a few hot spots”¦Crate and Barrel, Johnny Rockets, here, there and everywhere!
