Marisa and Gerard got married at the Neighborhood Unitarian Universalist Church of Pasadena just next door to the famous Gamble House. The grounds, exquisitely manicured and perfect for family pictures, were just the place for the “reveal” before the beautiful ceremony. Immediately following, our good friend, Los Angeles wedding coordinator Heather Ryon, from Martinis and Bliss Events, coordinated an perfectly in-sync rose petal toss, which showered the fabulous new couple followed by a scrumptious lunch at Café Santorini.
I was so lucky that Adi had an evening wedding that day, so he got to join me and the fabulous couple for the pre-reception photos before heading off to his wedding in Downtown Los Angeles!
M&G were up for a wedding fashion shoot tour d’ Pasadena and we hit a few hot spots”¦Crate and Barrel, Johnny Rockets, here, there and everywhere!

  • Marisa & Gerard - We love them! Thank you thank you thank you!

  • carole - Wow! These Next Exit photos are amazing! Marisa & Gerard, you look fantastic! Congratulations on a fabulous wedding! You can just feel the love oozing out of them.

Lynly and Keith are totally adorable. It was a pleasure shooting their wedding ceremony and reception at the Long Beach Westin Hotel. It was a blast walking the streets of downtown LB with the bridal party and then down to the lake by the Long Beach Aquarium for more romantic pictures of L&K right after the ceremony. I found out during the bridal party speeches that Lynly is a former beauty queen. It was clear that she knew how to keep her composure through the crazy wind storm during our fashion shoot down by the water.
It was a pleasure working with videographer Steve Morioka at Video Creations who directed one of the most fabulous video montages I have ever seen! Adi and I couldn’t stop laughing! Gregg Shinedling, our DJ buddie from Unforgettable Entertainment, rocked the house as usual and the dance floor was packed all night!

Brian and Kate got married at a truly “Zen” location, so perfect for this free-spirited couple. During the ceremony at Temescal Gateway Park in Pacific Palisades, weddings guests gathered around the bride and groom and created a “tone circle.” There was laughter and lots of cartwheels throughout the event, which ended with a talent show in which all of the guests participated. From juggling to stilt walking, from belly dancing to live jazz, the field of dreams where the stage was set was the perfect backdrop for this original wedding event. B&K and their family and friends are such lovely people (and oh, so talented!) Catering was just delish from Louise’s Trattoria!

JEEP JEEP JEEP!

It’s Adi, here. Cat’s in Arizona soaking up the”¦photography convention (and the 105 degree heat)!

Jeep and I go way back. We went through the photography program together at the School of Cinema-Television at USC. He was also my roommate for a year after we graduated. I think back to all the times we sat in front of the television, drinking White Russians. Gulp. I never would have guessed that 11 years later, I’d be shooting his wedding. Kristina is so awesome and I am so happy for them both! J&K are getting married at Calamigos Equestrian Center in Burbank. I can’t wait.
I shot this engagement session at the Getty Museum in Bel Air. We even snuck in to the galleries and took a few quick shots. Shhhhhh, don’t tell anybody”¦

  • Kristina - Thanks so much! We love our pics! It was so much fun sneaking around the Getty. You made us feel so comfortable.

Sarah and John are a super cool couple. Pre-Ceremony pictures will be on the streets of Melrose and maybe back to the Grove where we shot their engagement session. Their wedding ceremony will take place at their home in West Hollywood and their reception will be at the uber-cool restaurant, The Spanish Kitchen, on La Cienega.
Adi and I had fun coaxing Sarah into giggling at her sweetie. Once she got rolling, there was no stopping her! The Grove and The Farmers Market were the perfect locations to capture their spirit. Fun and relaxed, and just meant to be. Those firemen were such great sports!
A special thanks to wedding coordinator Karri Lucas from The Go To Gals for referring us this fabulous couple.

Stacey and Ronald laugh as much as they talk and it is contagious. Their personalities shined as they allowed us to capture their happy day. The ceremony and reception venue, The Los Angeles River Center and Gardens, is one of our faves in town. There are endless “spots” to take advantage of.
E.Marie from Brides Bliss did a phenomenal job with the wedding party makeup. It’s been a blast working with her this summer several times already! The floral design by Ava’s Garden was creative and elegant. Stacey’s bouquet was perfect! This was the first time we worked with Los Angeles wedding videographer, Isabel Gonzales. She was super helpful to Adi and I. She stayed out of our shots when we needed her to and took control when she had to! We hope to have the opportunity to shoot another event by her side. And, wedding planner Rosie from Just a Girls Event was so on top of everything! I had the pleasure of shooting Rosie’s headshot for her new blog a few weeks ago and we really hit it off like old friends. It was great to see her in action.
Stacey and Ron, we know that you guys will be part of our family for years to come.
