This post is a little different than some of our other family portrait posts as you will read.
Gahlit, this beautiful, strong, adoring mother and wife is in her second remission of AML (acute myeloid leukemia). Her mission is to educate people on her disease as well as the on the donation of bone marrow. (She had a bone marrow and stem cell transplant as well as a subsequent mini transplant.) I just got off the phone with Gahlit and she told me that she is having an amazing week, she feels really great and has been going out on the town to yummy restaurants with her family and friends.
