Seriously, how cute are Betty and Matt? Betty’s style is so, um, cool. Adi had a ball with these guys down in Venice.
Their wedding is at one of our fave locations ever, La Venta in Palos Verdes.

Usually it takes a little time to warm our clients up for their engagement sessions, but with these two, they were smoking hot right off the bat. I met Barbara and Jonathan, who flew in from Athens, Georgia, for the very first time at their SantaMonicaLicious engagement session. Their wedding is going to rock it at the gorgeous Descanso Gardens later this summer.

After several weeks (maybe months) of negotiating schedules with Tiffany and Ryan after they booked us to photograph their wedding, we finally found a date that Adi and I could fly up to San Francisco (and a grandma to babysit Clara) so that we could shoot their engagement session in their own hood. Tiffany even picked us up from the airport and whisked us over to Lombard Street (yes, she actually LIVES on Lombard Street) where we started shooting. The rest of the afternoon was spend climbing hills, crossing city streets, hiking through grassy fields and basically, getting it all in. Adi and I adored spending these few hours getting to know the couple as we had never even met them before this shoot! We are so excited to shoot their wedding later this fall at The Palos Verdes Country Club. Love you guys!!

I don’t get out to Claremont very often, or…ever, but if it were any closer I imagine that I would shoot a ton of my portrait sessions out there. Its freakin’ gorgeous!
Eva and Brinton met at the Claremont Juice Company where we started on our little engagement photo safari.
Their’s is an adorable story that involves unexpressed feelings, many many months of being “friends,” and lots and lots of juice.
But hey, those unexpressed feelings must have turned into expressed ones, cause Next Exit Photography is shooting their wedding at the amazing Rancho del Cielo in Malibu this August. It’s going to be spectacular.

Dana and Justin are the perfect Next Exit couple. After finding us by searching online, (we love you, Google) they decided sight unseen, we need to fly Adi out to our New York wedding this summer so he can rock it. Guys, I am all too happy to oblige. Dana has a sense of humor right up my alley. She immediately put me at ease. (Hey, isn’t that my job?) Justin was all chill with his amazing yellow shoes. All I can say is, I must own them. Justin, give me your shoes. I loved our session in Central Park last week.

I’m especially looking forward to shooting at the Old Westbury Gardens (the mansion from Cruel Intentions!) which the couple reserved for picture taking after the ceremony.

Maya and Dan spent the afternoon with us in Central Park in New York City last week. Their wedding actually takes place later this month at Maya’s mom’s stunning home in Brentwood, but they live happily on the Upper Wesssside in Manhattan.

I am especially excited to photograph Maya’s wedding because we grew up together! Our moms are very good friends and we spent all of the holidays together as youngins. While in NYC, we were so lucky to have a personal tour of the International Center of Photography (ICP) by Maya, a curator at the museum.

I have to admit that shooting at The Natural History Museum in Downtown Los Angeles was Elena’s brain child. What I would do with them when we got there was totally up to me. Elena and Jeff were about as game (pun intended) as any Next Exit couple have ever been. For those who know me, that’s my kind of couple. Their craziness kind of speaks for itself. After the dead stuffed animal part of the shoot, we went outside to the Rose Garden and a bit of fun in the sun. As you can see, these two don’t need taxidermy to have a good time. Thanks to One&Only Palmilla clients extraordinaire, Zarin and Ryan, we will be photographing THIS wedding at the always fabulous Saddlerock Ranch this July.

You may not know this, but Delia and Jerry have a serious case of the giggles. It’s not serious, but it is certainly contagious. A couple of weeks ago, we all made the trek cross town in rush hour traffic to the magnificent, newly remodeled, Griffith Observatory. Jerry and Delia were in total Next Exit super model mode as they battled swarms of foreign tourists as well as swarms of Hollywood gnats. Delia took one to the eye (a gnat, not a tourist), but the damage was negligible. It just resulted in another giggle bout. Can’t wait for their June wedding!

There was something about Natalie and Mike. Just the way that they interacted, and laughed and had so much to say about one another.
They were so delightful to photograph at their engagement session. I mean, come on! Those outfits? eeeee!!!

Natalie adopted the cat that Stephanie found last year, so we all owe them our animal loving thanks.

Their wedding, at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church and then Casa Del Mar, is going to be off the hook.

Chantelle and Brad are getting married at the uberchic hotel, the Sheraton Delfina, in Santa Monica, just next month!!
I really had a wonderful time shooting their engagement session in Santa Monica. Getting to know them was easy…they both have such warm personalities and it really shows in the photos!

Chantelle is a self described blog-stalker, so we’ll see how long it takes her to find her post! (granted, it is now 10:30pm on a Friday night, but who knows)
