Eva and Brinton had their gorgeous wedding at one of my favorite wedding locations in Southern California. Owned by the adorable Jill Greene, Rancho del Cielo is a little hideaway retreat overlooking the big Pacific blue. I was sad not to get to see her this time, but hopefully Adi remembered to give her hugs and kisses for me. Another person I was sad to miss is the amazing and talented Amber Gustafson of Amber Events. She and her team are full of fabulousness! Okay, let’s face it, I was sad to miss the entire incredible team of vendors, but I was off shooting an equally kick-toosh wedding in New Jersey. (Yes, Karina, that means you’re next!)

I don’t get out to Claremont very often, or…ever, but if it were any closer I imagine that I would shoot a ton of my portrait sessions out there. Its freakin’ gorgeous!
Eva and Brinton met at the Claremont Juice Company where we started on our little engagement photo safari.
Their’s is an adorable story that involves unexpressed feelings, many many months of being “friends,” and lots and lots of juice.
But hey, those unexpressed feelings must have turned into expressed ones, cause Next Exit Photography is shooting their wedding at the amazing Rancho del Cielo in Malibu this August. It’s going to be spectacular.

I loved this wedding so much! Woke up to a super duper gloomy Los Angeles day, but the clouds parted as these two said their vows atop a mountain at the charming Rancho del Cielo in Malibu. I loved everything about this location from the getting ready room with light streaming through the windows, the stunning reception area and ceremony site overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and last but not least, the hospitable owner, Jillian Palethorpe, who was welcoming and kind. (see how Allison offered to do her dishes at the end of the night!)
I loved working with Allison and Austin and their amazing families. And, how cool that so many of the bridal party were locals…Crossroads and Harvard Westlake peeps!
