I’ll admit that being referred by a former happy Next Exit bride to a new bride-to-be is a huge foot in the door. We met with Briana and Greg and beyond the incredible recommendation (thanks, Petra!!) we had so much in common!
The four of us all grew up in Los Angeles (I know, unheard of, right?) and we knew tons of people in common.
Beyond our similarities, Briana and Greg also have a few unique qualities of their own. How’s this? The have known each other since they were 13, went to high school together, college together *USC*, and well, I bet you can figure the rest out!
These two lovebirds are the real thing.

Trisha nailed this wedding in every way. Coordination? Flowers? Details? Please, try not to make our job so easy!

Their vendor team was très magnifique.

Working with Taryn and Gavin was such a pleasure! We met for the first time at their engagement session, and so email was our friend along the way.
Mom was the one who came into the studio to make sure that we were *legit*. We love ya, mom!
It was a gorgeous afternoon at the Nixon Library, and our first time working there was just fabulous with Taryn’s amazing team of vendors.

Carmen and Phillip went to high school together. (I should know, Carmen was my best friend in the 7th grade!) But, they didn’t start dating until after college. They are true soulmates and so sweet together.
For me, shooting their wedding was such bliss!
It was a simple affair, no traditional wedding march or even recessional. Just a gathering of close friends and family at the Malibu bluffs.
And then off to a scrumptious dinner at Taverna Tony’s down the road for an endless meal of yummy Greek treats.

And running into my old high school crew was a blast. Memories came flooding back! Sheri, Chris and Josh were all very close to me back in the day and it was a pleasure spending that time with them over Kabobs and Baklava.
It was also fun to hang with our two brides to be, Johanny and Hayley, who will be tying the knot in two weeks!!

Love you, Carmey. So glad that we reconnected after all these years. You are such a special soul.

  • Carmen - Thank you, Cat, for the INSANE pictures!!! They are everything I hoped for and then some. The compliments have been endless! And the best part was that it was you!! XOXO

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Google for arranging this marriage. No, not Jennifer and Mark’s marriage…the one between the two of them and Next Exit!
While searching for photos of one of our very favorite Santa Monica wedding venues, the Sheraton Delfina, they stumbled upon our website and the rest is history.
Jennifer and Mark have amazing taste in two of our mutual loves, Music and Beer, but not necessarily in that order.
The wedding was planned to perfection with the help of the amazing wedding coordinator, Monica McPartland. We adore her and look forward to crossing paths soon.

When Holly emailed us in June 2010 that she had seen a friend’s engagement pictures on our Facebook page, I thought, wow, this Facebook thing works! (who knew?)
But even more exciting was the fact that we adored Holly and Mike and we knew that their wedding would be as fun as the two of them are together.
This day was full of laughter and lots of pit stops on the Redondo Pier for snacks and games.
You guys are so cute together and we were so honored to be a part of your day!

I now know that Alice and I are going to stay friends forev.

“Alice” in Wonderland theme? Hartley Botanica in Camarillo? A bouncy house? Ring bearer doggie? Yes!!!
She’s an interior designer, and a good one at that (she helped me pick tons of stuff for the new casa de next exit!)
There were endless wedding details. Come on magazine/blog editors. Who is going to scoop this one up!?

I was so thrilled to be at this wedding. And I won’t even tell you how hard I laughed when Dan knocked two glasses of Champagne on his lap during the toasts.
